Pledge a donation
Commit to paying a donation in future.
By default, a donation is created with a pending status. While pending, no further action will be taken on the donation. It will not be invoiced and paid.
In order for a donation to move through the donation lifecycle, its status must be pledged. Once pledged, a donation has been committed to be paid in future. Its status will change to pledged.
A donation can be immediately pledged when it is created by setting
